NARS Orgasm, London Haul & 30 Day Challenge

A few days ago I reviewed one of the new products I bought in London, Benefit They're Real mascara. Today I'm going to show you a few other things I purchased! Now, I don't have a lot of money right now what with being unemployed and all, but I managed to treat myself to a few things (with help of my boyfriend and parents!!).

 Yay! I got me my Nars Orgasm blush! I've wanted it for a while now. Actually, I wanted the Orgasm/Laguna duo but my pennies wouldn't stretch to that lol. So here it is! It's a lovely peachy pink shade with a subtle golden shimmer which claims to suit any skintone. I always opt for peachy shades because of my yellow base tone, and I've heard so many good things about this that I haaad to snap it up!


It's quite translucent, so you can wear it as a really subtle glow or build it up for more depth. Here's my swatches:

As you can see, it's a really natural colour on my skin tone and the gold shimmer will give a really healthy glow. I think I'm already in love! It cost me £20.50 from Selfridges.

My super cute friend bought me and my besties these matching necklaces for our trip to London, I thought that was so sweet and I love it!

It was hard not to go crazy in the Primark in Oxford Street but I did reaaaally well and only bought two jumpers and tights. One jumper I showed in this post (it's the one I'm posing at the Harry Potter set in), it's a gorgeous knit with gold mini sequins. I know I'll be wearing it all festive season! The other jumper is below:

It has cats on it! Amaze. Both jumpers were £12.

In Harrods, whilst posing at the Harry Potter stuff, I couldn't help but get my geek on and purchase something. It was all pretty expensive so I settled for this pen/wand. I can already tell I will look SO cool marking jotters with this (not). 

I got some cute little earrings from Claire's accessories, I don't normally shop in there but I was looking for earrings for my Britney costume and it was 3 for 2 so I got these ones too!

Lastly, I got the VO5 Miracle Oil after being recommended it to put moisture back into my extensions, so I will let you know how that goes!

Also thought I'd also show you my London nails - little polka dots. I also FINALLY bought actual nail art pens in London, so things like this will be so much easier!

Lastly, here's my 30 Day Challenges for today:

Day 07 – A picture of someone/something that has the biggest impact on you

This is really tricky! I have a variety of influences. My friends, family, boyfriend etc. I'm also influenced by celebrities in terms of fashion and style. I honestly find it very difficult to say who or what influences my life. I mainly live to my own expectations and my dreams!

Day 08 – Short term goals for this month and why

My short term goals for this month are:

• Work as much as I can without feeling ill at the thought of it! Right now I'm starting to get a wee bit more supply work but I stress out about it sooo much and make myself ill. I need to learn to calm down!
• Volunteer at my local animal shelter. It's something I did on and off for years, but I've not been for a long time and I really have no excuse now with all my free time.
• Continue to attend the gym at least 5 sessions a week!

Fingers crossed I manage them all!
