I am NOT a tidy person. I'm awful, really bad. My problem is that I have too much stuff and not enough space, so I tend to just leave everything on the floor. I'm a great believer in the 'floordrobe'. But y'know, New Year, new start and all that - I thought I should try and make an effort to keep my room tidy.
My make up normally kind of lies everywhere, spread among three boxes with no rhyme or reason. I recently did a POST where I did a mini tidy and discovered lots of goodies! I'm just not good at keeping things in their place.
So, when I saw this gorgeous little storage box in WHSmith for half price, I knew I had to have it!!
Bottom drawer is skin/cleansing stuffs, middle left is my everyday make up, middle right is my brushes and eyelashes, top is (l-r) eyes, lips, face that I sometimes use! I have a ton more make up that I haven't sorted yet, so think I'm gonna try get another one for 'extra' make up. I'm also wanting to get an actual brush holder for my Sigma brushes rather than have them in a drawer.

I was supposed to be an aging actress/ producer/ author etc! My outfit description was a white fitted dress and a white fur stole, so I think I did ok! My character was Mae Vest, obv based on Mae West, so I modelled my make up on her...
Anyways...

Those storage drawers are really cute and look like a great way to store make up! I need some better storage system for mine, it's all just squeezed into some make up bags so I tend to use the same stuff all the time and forget what I actually have! The murder mystery party looks fun :) x

@Laura - thanks you for following! I'll be sure to check out your blog too. Like I said, I got mine in WHSmith, so I think it's probably a good idea to look for like stationary storage rather than makeup in particular! ^_^

aw, I'm so jealous of your new purchase cos I spotted this in WHSmith on a shopping trip before Christmas... I had too many bags that day so went back a few days later and it had sold out :( Kinda sucks cos it's the kinda storage I'd be happy to have on show - most of my storage boxes are functional and seriously unattractive :)
